What is JUMP?

JUMP (Junior University Multidisciplinary Program) is a three-day residential experience at Wilfrid Laurier University for grade 5, 6, 7, and 8 students during the months of May and June. JUMP is hands-on, educational, informative, and fun!

JUMP combines a total of 10.5 hours of academic courses designed and taught by Laurier professors, graduate and senior students from the Faculties of Arts, Science, Music, the School of Business & Economics and the Department of Athletics.

Students have the opportunity to learn about ancient artifacts in a dig site, new acting techniques, or how the brain works. They might play traditional and creative musical instruments, complete light and pressure experiments, or make ‘goo’ in science. Each class will take seven out of ten possible JUMP courses.
